Malaysia – The Tropical Paradise

Malaysia-The Tropical Paradise. A perfect citation for a perfect getaway. Malaysia, situated at the southern tip of Thailand, comprises of a mainland and groups of islands encircling the archipelago. Its humid tropical climate enables Malaysia to treasure one of the oldest canopying tropical forests, stretching throughout the peninsular. Mountains and highlands, stretching through the north and south, known as ‘Banjaran Titiwangsa’, formed the backbone of the peninsular. These natural habitat is possible due to the initiative taken by the authority in the preservation of forests as treasure for its future generations.

Due to its geographical advantage, Malaysia possesses many beautiful beaches and fascinating islands. Long stretches of white-sand beaches, and hundreds of islands is a paradise for beach lovers and marine enthusiasists. Islands such as Pulau Langkawi in Kedah, Pulau Perhentian in Terengganu, Pulau Tioman in Johor, naming a few, is an attractions for both local and foreign tourists.

Apart from islands and beaches, Malaysia is also an attractions for its highlands getaway vacations. Malaysia is proud of its cool and peaceful highland resorts for a great vacation retreats and an escape from the bustling city life. Apart from its cool and dense environment, these highlands offers their own unique attractions. - Cameron Highlands is famous for its tea plantations, flowers and vegetables farms and Genting Highlands is popular for its theme park and casinos.

For those interested in the beauty of nature, Malaysia offers attractions to Gunung Kinabalu (Mount Kinabalu), the highest summit in South-East Asia, and the Gunung Tahan Forest Reserve – one of the oldest jungles with its natural habitat of wildlife etc.
